The Explore Mid Murray Tourism Ambassador Program is a light-touch, community-led initiative that invites passionate locals and businesses to play a role in promoting the Mid Murray Council region as a welcoming and vibrant visitor destination.
The program is coordinated by Mid Murray Council’s Tourism team, but ambassadors are not considered formal Council volunteers or employees. Instead, the program recognises and supports residents, shack owners and local businesses who are already proud promoters of their townships — and connects them to a wider regional network.
We welcome people passionate about Mid Murray to join the program
