The aim of the Toy Library is to provide toys, games and puzzles of an educational nature that provide pleasurable learning experiences and promote child development in language, numeracy, social interaction, muscle development, imagination and creativity.

Missing Pieces
All toys and resources are checked for missing parts and damage prior to being placed in the Toy Library. We have a 24 hour policy which gives members 24 hours to report any issues with Toy Library resources borrowed. We ask members to count all borrowed items as soon as they get home and in the rare instance that something is missing, to contact us straight away. Failure to do so may result in the assumption of lost or damaged toys.
If a piece goes missing, we allow plenty of time for the piece to turn up! Please do not return toys with missing pieces, simply renew the item. This enables you extra time to look for the piece at home. Upon return all items will be checked for damage and missing pieces.
In the case of a lost or damaged items, please contact staff asap they will then find options for replacement and advise you of the fee incurred.
Please do not attempt repairs at home.
Toy Library Cleaning
It is the borrower's responsibility to clean items before and after use. If you become unwell during the borrowing period, please contact staff to renew item and only return 48hrs after all symptoms are gone.
Borrowing
Families may borrow 2 items on the toy library card for 2 weeks at a time.
Returning Resources
Toy Library items cannot be returned to other Toy Libraries they must be returned to either Blanchetown or Morgan Libraries during opening hours.
Toys returned on time enables the library to provide a better service. If you would like to extend your borrowing time, please contact Morgan Library.
