2026/2027 Free Hard Waste Disposal Vouchers
Free Hard Waste Disposal Vouchers are eligible to non-commercial, residential properties only who receive a kerbside collection service/transfer station access card and allows ratepayers to dispose of two free level 8' x 5' trailer loads of waste to any of Mid Murray Council's Waste Transfer Station Facilities.

The voucher will be sent via text message to the mobile phone you have nominated. The drop off code is redeemable for two level 8 x 5 trailers loads of waste to any of Mid Murray Council Waste Transfer station facilities until 30 June 2027. For those who don’t have a mobile phone, alternate arrangements can be made with Solo to receive the “drop off code”.
Hard rubbish, also known as hard waste, are your rubbish items that don't fit into or are not accepted in your general waste bins, including Household Furniture and Waste, Building Material and Green Waste.
Excluded Materials: Asbestos, Tyres, Mattresses/Ensembles and Contractor's Waste. These waste items attract additional charges and will be charged separately.
Residents will need to provide evidence of eligibility at the time of disposal i.e., rates notice or driver’s licence.
