Payments

The Council has decided that the payment of rates will be as follows:

All rates are payable in four equal (or approximately equal) quarterly instalments (unless otherwise agreed with the Principal Ratepayer) with instalments falling due on the following dates:

1st quarterly instalment due on 8 September 2023
2nd quarterly instalment due on 8 December 2023
3rd quarterly instalment due on 8 March 2024
4th quarterly instalment due on 7 June 2024

provided that in cases where the initial account requiring payment of rates is not sent at least 30 days prior to the due date for payment, or an amended account is required to be sent, authority to fix the date by which rates must be paid in respect of those assessments affected is delegated to the Chief Executive Officer.

Rates may be paid:

  • Bpoint - Online Rate Payments:  Payments via Internet

  • By Telephone - call one of our Council offices or call 1300 BPOINT (1300 276 468) to make your payment using credit card (Mastercard or Visa)

  • By following the BPay directions located on the rate notice.

  • Direct Debit (weekly/fortnightly on Friday or quarterly/yearly): Direct Debit Application Form

  • In person at the Council Offices being 49 Adelaide Road, Mannum; Main Street, Cambrai or Corner Fourth and Eighth Streets, Morgan between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm Monday to Friday.

  • By post to PO Box 28, Mannum SA 5238.

  • In person at any Post Office (please present rate notice when paying)

Credit card & EFTPOS facilities are available at Mannum, Morgan and Cambrai.

Any ratepayer who may, or is likely to, experience difficulty with meeting the standard payment arrangements is invited to contact Council's Rates and Assessment Officer on (08) 8569 0100 to discuss alternative payment arrangements. Such inquiries are treated confidentially by the Council.

Centrepay

Centrepay is a voluntary bill-paying service which is free for Centrelink customers. Use Centrepay to arrange regular deductions from your Centrelink payment.

You can start or change a deduction at any time. The quickest way to do it is through your Centrelink account online.
