Annual Business Plans & Budgets

Council adopted its 2020/2021 Annual Business Plan and budget on Tuesday, 14 July 2020.

In developing the plan, Council has factored in the unprecedented events of 2019 and 2020 (including drought, bushfires and the COVID-19 pandemic) and the financial challenges this has created for the community and local businesses.

At the same time, the plan also balances Council’s need for long-term financial sustainability, and ensures there are key recovery projects delivered across our towns, to stimulate the local economy, and help businesses and families recover.

Key projects include work on major trail infrastructure, drought response projects, dark sky reserve development, road upgrades and renewal, mental health programs and more.

Public consultation was undertaken on the plan during May-June 2020, and the full ABP is now finalised and available below.
