The Mid Murray Council area comprises land within regions generally known as the Murraylands, Riverland and the eastern slopes of the Mount Lofty Ranges. The major topographical feature of the area being the valley of the River Murray with some 220 kms of this picturesque waterway passing through the district.

Cowirra CWMS 

Cowirra Community Wastewater Management Scheme (CWMS)

The Cowirra Township CWMS Preliminary Design Report and Design Drawings have been prepared by Council’s CWMS consultant for consideration.  Click here for a copy of the Report and Design Drawings.

The Visit Mid Murray App for regions throughout the Mid Murray Council will provide information of maps, walking trails, events, accommodation etc. Funding for this project has been received from the Commonwealth Government under the Smart Cities & Suburbs program. The App is presently being developed and is expected to be available in May 2019 from Google Play and Apple Store.

Fire Danger Season 2018/2019

The 2018/2019 Fire Danger Season for the Murraylands and Riverland Fire Ban Districts has been declared and has been brought forward due to drier than normal conditions commencing 1 November 2018 and is in force until 15 April 2019.
